Personal Brand 4 Pillars

Your strengths, values and mission

Why should your readers recommend reading your blog and listening to your content on various social media channels like Anchor, YouTube, and other social media platforms?

What makes you unique, what will people get out of your content and the value of your product, yourself, and business.

If you are doing a personal development blog, you must clarify your blog’s purpose, mission, who you are, and who your blog is for.

To be successful, you must know your niche—this understanding of the people that buy your products and knowledge of the marketplace.

Your marketplace is the industry you are working in, and for the content, you will be writing about, you must be aware of your marketplace and what kind of people buy your products.

For example, when selling food products for dogs, the target audience is not dogs but pet owners; dog food is targeted at dog owners.

This means all the marketing and research targeting their human masters because dogs don’t have bank accounts.

A method that can target a customer is to build personas and a persona in this context.

You use your matching data and any information on your customers to create a mock-up of this individual.

A Persona is a made-up individual that represents your target audience. This is done to humanise the kind of person you hope to sell and promote your products and services.

Consider building personas once you have settled on what kind of product or blog you wish to promote and who you want to encourage to buy your products.

Suppose you are designing a website and a blog from scratch.

In that case, you will be experimenting with different niches until you have settled on a niche for your blog to create a promotion strategy that best meets your aims.

Your image

When developing your image is crucial that you should be truthful, honest and above all, avoid any BS (Bull Shitting) due to the hyper-competitive nature of blogging and that people are being bombarded with information, whether it be natural, real and fake,

all the time, people that read blogs are looking for services and are becoming more adept at spotting people who speak and write BS.

When promoting your image, deliver no false promises and offer no quick solutions. Due to success taking years.

Developing any business takes five years.

Most new companies last under five years, and entrepreneurs often have to try to create a company more than once before being successful.

Blogging, in its essence, is straightforward. What is hard is spreading the image of your brand and your service. This can take years.

Your authenticity and trust factor

Remember to be authentic and build trust between yourself and your audience/readers. Remember your authenticity will increase the trust factor between yourself and your readers. Break that trust, and you will spend a lot of time rebuilding your professional image, which could be irrefutably tarnished.

Your opinions

Keep your opinions factual and accurate do not steal opinions and views from other people. Do not copy other writers’ news articles or blog posts on the topics.

Your content must be original, and the same goes for your ideas and content creation.

You can use new stories to generate content ideas and write just as long as you put your thoughts in an original format and put a different spin on new stories.
